Southwestern Day Care Center

Southwestern Day Care Center, located in the facilities of The Tabernacle in Orchard Park, New York, has been in operation for over 40 years.  The Center serves children from six weeks old to school-age and is open from 630am to 6pm.  Orchard Park students can be bused to and from Windom Elementary School if arrangements are made with the school.

The recently renovated facility features a large open nursery area for infants to age eighteen months and individual classrooms for each age level.  The center is fully air-conditioned.  Southwestern Day Care Center provides two nutritious meals and a snack each day.  Diapers and formula are included for children under age two.

The program, based on Christian principles, is designed to meet the needs of all children.  Curriculum includes developmentally appropriate instruction, physical activities, stories, prayer, games, crafts, and much more.  Music classes each week are taught by a trained professional.  The Center has the use of a full-sized gymnasium for indoor activities.  An optional gymnastics program is available for those who with to participate.  Our preschool students leave Southwestern Day Care Center well-prepared for kindergarten.

Southwestern Day Care Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.  The Center is also a member of the Child Care Resource Network.
