Experiencing the Presence of God is central to our ministry at The Tabernacle. The word of God says that He “inhabits the praises of His people.” Praise & Worship, facilitated through the use of the Arts, stirs the heart of God and moves us into a place of divine encounter!
The foundation of our worship and the use of arts within the church, is the desire to experience the presence and glory of God. We believe that music and the arts bring people to a place of worship where a face to face encounter with God is available to them. God longs to reveal Himself to us; for us to abide with Him and experience His healing, His grace, His love, His power and glory (Psalm 68:24-28). True worship carries us to that place, and that is why our priority is to bring all expressions of the arts in worship back into the church.
At The Tabernacle, you will both hear and see a worship experience. This experience is expressed through music of all styles, both songs that we have written and songs being sung worldwide. You will see people passionately expressing their heart of worship through dance (Psalm 149:3), raising their hands (Psalm 63:4,134:2), clapping (Psalm 47:1), bowing (Phil 3:19), freely singing both the written (Psalm 4:1) and unwritten song (Psalm 98:1), and even shouting (Psalm 47:1) and jumping (Psalm 18:29) with exuberance in praise before Him. Although it is all expressed in beautiful order (1 Cor 14:40), it is a time where we are captivated by our living God and the joy of knowing Him (Ephesians 3:14-21)!
Our goal is to provide quality programs, productions, and training that will reach the world as well as those within our church body. Our Goal — true excellence. Our Mission — to reach those that are lost through the restoration of the arts within the church… ALL to bring worship to our Lord.
